01 / Arrival
An external session becomes a well-mannered colleague.
Mention an agent by name and it joins bound to that spot in your text: its reply lands just below your line, and everything it did along the way stacks neatly above the answer — plan, steps, outcomes — folded away until you want them.
Thoughts-in-progress and metering never clutter the page. They live in a private ledger beside the document, so the prose stays prose.
02 / Manners
Permission first. Always.
- Nothing consequential by default.
Sensitive operations start refused. Granting is explicit, per session, and remembered where you can see it.
- Reach is mapped, not assumed.
When an outside tool touches files, each touch is translated onto a specific place in the document it was actually granted — never a vague promise of "access".
- Refusals become records.
A denied attempt is kept honestly in the margin's history — evidence, not embarrassment.
Works today with omp and Claude Code sessions; anything else speaking the standard joins the same way.
